Commission sales are for many the perfect compromise between acheiving the most money from a sale whilst eliminating all of the hassle that goes along listing, describing, shipping and negotiating a sale.

Our commission sale service has quickly become one of most popular services we offer thank to our low rates, industry leading listings and excellent reputation in the second hand guitar market. Please watch our informative commissions sale video below to learn more!

For more in depth information regarding our pricing and commission sale strategies you can read more below.

Commission Rates

Our pricing structure is designed to give you complete freedom in choosing as much or as little of our services as you like.

For the highest percentage of the sale you can drop the guitar off at our showroom or arrange for it to be delivered to us.

Alternatively we are happy to take care of this and will charge a fee in line with insured delivery using our Postage Guarantee.

If you decide to take your guitar back, we will only charge the £60 listing and luthier fee. As well as a fully serviced and set-up guitar, the listing, luthier report, and photos are then yours to use however you wish.

Listing and Luthier Fee - £60

This covers the entire process of preparing your guitar for sale and includes a full set up, full luthier report, professional images and an in depth description. Our listings are some of the best on the market, why not take a look at some commissions we currently have for sale to see for yourself at the bottom of the page.

7% of the final sale price

We take just 7% of the final sale price.

Platform Fees

Dependent upon which platform we sell the guitar on we are charged a transaction fee. You don't need to worry about this coming off the figures we agree as the amount will be added onto the asking price to encourage buyers to contact us directly.

We have years of experience buying and selling guitars and will be on hand to provide our expertise in setting a realistic asking price for your guitar.

This being said we are always happy to discuss the amount you are hoping to receive and set the asking price a little higher to accommodate for this.

The worst that can happen in this instance is that we decide to lower the price in future or consider offers made by potential buyers.

Sales Strategy

The most commonly asked question we receive is 'how long will it take for my guitar to sell?', which is an entirely reasonable line of enquiry when selling via a commission service.

The answer to this question will vary dependent on rarity, popularity and most importantly the asking price. The strategy we put forward will best suit your needs, whether that is achieving as much as possible or trying to secure a faster sale.

Below are some examples of our past and present commission listings to give you an idea of the quality of listings which we produce.

Adrian

"Read all the positive reviews and take note! Lots of people will sell things on commission for you, but very very few go all of the extra miles that these guys do: it's quite clear that the efforts that they put in to provide the most detailed and honest descriptions of the guitars means they have built an enormous credibility with buyers, which in turn works to the advantage of sellers too. And on top of that, they make the whole process of rehomin loved possessions so straightforward and pleasant that you are actually left wishing you had more things to pass on into their care. Give them a try, I don't think you will regret it."

We treat our commission guitars no differently and this thorough service will give your guitar the best possible chance of selling.

Industry Leading Commission Rates
