Here for sale we have a Bass Centre Fretless  Speakeasy 4 in Gloss Black finish. Built in South Korea, the Speakeasy bass is based on the classic Japanese Bass Collection SB310 series, this guitar features a bolt on construction comprising an Ash body, Hard Maple neck and fretless Ebony fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Gold GB7 Style machine heads, Gold dome top control knobs and Gold hi-mass bridge. The pickups installed are passive P/J single coils that are wired to a master volume, pickup balance and individual treble and bass cut/boost. 
 
The Hard Maple neck plays very well, with its thin ‘C’ profile feeling nicely thin in the hand making for an ergonomic feel; certainly a neck that will suit the vast majority of players. The satin finish to the rear of the neck makes for smooth transitions and a pleasing touch under the thumb. The Ebony fretboard adds a touch of luxury and feels pleasant under the fingers. The 15.75” radius makes for efficient and easy fretting and sliding, while the body contours and cutaway design give unobstructed access to the upper register.
 
The Passive P/J pickups sound very well balanced, with plenty of warmth and growl in the P-single coil and a punchy bright tone in the J-single coil. When both pickups are engaged you get a hard hitting aggressive sound that will cut through the densest of mixes. The pickup balance knob combined with individual bass and treble cut/boost options offer total tonal control that can be used to adapt to every playing style and situation. This bass combines a distinctive, compact body profile with a powerful, modern sound.
