Here for sale we have a Bass Collection Jive bass in China White finish. Made in Korea, this instrument features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is fitted with chrome hardware and features an 'Ashtray' pickup cover, as well as twin single coil pickups controlled with individual volume controls and master tone.
The Maple neck plays well, feeling comfortable in the hand with its 'Super Slim Sixties' profile. The gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth movements up and down the neck, and the Rosewood fingerboard adds a touch of luxury to the playing experience. The Basswood body feels light on the shoulders, with the contours ensuring that this is a comfortable bass to play in either standing or seated positions.
Amplified, this bass provides a rocking vintage tone with plenty of glittering harmonics, plus width, punch and crunchiness in the bottom end. The midrange is well defined and warm, with high frequencies feeling snappy and clear. The individual volume controls allow you to blend the pickups in any combination, whilst the tone control is great for darkening the sound.
