Here for sale we have a Cort C4 Deluxe Active Electric Bass in Candy Red finish. Made in Indonesia in 2023,  this bass features a Poplar body, a Maple neck and a 24 fret Jatoba fingerboard. The hardware featured on this bass consists of a string-through or top loading MetalCraft M bridge along with a set of sealed tuning machines. Two Bartolini active MK-1 pickups are installed into this bass, these are wired to a master volume, pickup balancer, 3-band active EQ and an active/passive switch.
 
The Maple neck plays well, with a profile that resembles a 'C' shape filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip, whilst remaining slim enough for articulate playing. The Satin finish to the rear is pleasant under the thumb and assists with smooth navigation of the 34" scale. The Jatoba fingerboard with its 15.75" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques whilst providing a pleasant and durable playing surface. The Medium Jumbo frets enhance the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques whilst also providing a rock-solid sensation under the fingers.
 
The Bartolini pickups have a rich and powerful low end, punchy mids and articulate highs. The active/passive switch allows you to take the active EQ out of the circuit when a more traditional passive tone is required. The 3-band EQ is broad and musical sounding, with each pot resting at unity in its dipped middle position, allowing you to both boost and cut each frequency.
