Here for sale we have a Cort OC Blackwood in Open Pore finish. Built in China in 2021 this guitar is part of Cort’s all-solid acoustic guitars range. This guitar features a Solid Blackwood top, back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Ovangkol fingerboard. Other appointments include a Genuine Bone saddle, Ovangkol Bridge and black Die-Cast tuning machines. This guitar also comes with a Fishman Sonitone EQ system with a simple Soundhole Mounted Volume and Tone controls.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a ‘C’ profile feeling comfortable in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Satin finish to the rear assists with smooth transitions up and down the neck, making the 25.5” scale feel easily manoeuvrable. The Ovangkol fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 15.75” radius provides a nicely flat and consistent surface right the way up the register. The OM body shape and smooth lines make for an extremely easy playing experience, providing comfort in both standing and seated positions and the cutaway makes for easy access to the upper registers.
The acoustic voice of the Cort OC is resonant and rich, providing great projection and good volume due its smaller size. The Sold Blackwood back and sides provide a warm low end, smooth midrange and bright high frequencies while the Fishman Sonitone EQ system retains all the natural resonance and the pure acoustic sound of the instrument,
