Here for sale we have a Doug Wilkes Custom ‘X’ Style electric guitar in a white finish. Made in England, Doug hand crafts all of his guitars in his workshop in England and has made guitars for some of music’s biggest names. Due to the custom-made nature of Doug’s guitars, we are unable to provide accurate information on some of the materials used to create this instrument.
The scale length of this guitar is 26.2 inches. The guitar features a gloss finish on the body and the thru-neck making it feel super slick and easy to play. The Rosewood fingerboard feels really comfortable and makes the neck easy to navigate. The body is shaped in a way that makes it comfortable to sit down and play the guitar with a deep cutaway on the treble side of the neck making every fret completely accessible.
The ‘X’ is fitted with one Hot Rail style pickup that sits in the bridge position. This high-output pickup provides some seriously punchy tones with a good sweep from the volume and tone knobs. There is also a switch fitted to the guitar that acts as a sort of kill switch even though there is a small amount of the guitar’s volume that can still be heard when playing very loud. The Floyd Rose licensed bridge feels great to use and is fully functional.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, showing light scratching on all faces, which is only visible at certain angles under direct light. The top edge demonstrates light scuffing and paint transfer.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the gloss black finish demonstrates consistent light scratching across the entire profile, as is common with this finish. The fingerboard shows very light evidence of use.
Body: Overall good condition, the rear edges, particularly towards the neck of the guitar, demonstrate scuffing and scratching of the finish. The front face shows very light markings which are difficult to discern against the finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets show moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any light fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
