Here for sale we have an Epiphone Dot in Cherry finish. Made in China in 2014, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Maple body, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted, including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and StopBar tailpiece. A pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic humbucking pickups are fitted, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls.
The Mahogany neck plays well, feeling substantial yet comfortable in the hand and offering easy fretting in any register. The Gloss finish to the rear feels pleasant to the touch and aids easy transitions up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard with its 12" radius provides a durable and nicely smooth and consistent playing surface right the way up tot the 22nd fret. The semi-hollow construction makes this guitar easy on the shoulders on long gigs, and the smooth lines of the body ensure that this is a comfortable guitar to play either standing or seated.
The semi-hollow construction of this guitar means that it resonates and sustains very well. It produces an airy tone with an unpronounced yet well defined low end, detailed upper midrange and sparkly high frequencies. With clean settings the neck pickup produces a round and smooth tone perfectly suited to jazz. When driving the amp, the tone is rich and crunchy, lending itself well to blues. A versatile package of tones, especially with the individual volume and tone controls for each pickup.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Indentation that lightly cracks the finish is present to the treble and bass side edges, close to the 1st E and D strings. The top edge shows light to mild scuffing and indentation, with a light chip to the bass side rear edge lightly exposing the wood.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light denting which has cracked the finish is present to the rear of the neck, most notably to the mid register treble side and also behind the 12th fret at the treble side where the indentation is lightly felt under the thumb. It is difficult to discern any markings to the fingerboard.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching to all surfaces is visible under direct light, most notably to the lower bout and bass side horn of the front face. Light denting which lightly cracks the finish is present to the bass side rear edge of the lower bout. The pickguard shows milder scratching consistent with mild playwear, as well as a light chip by the neck pickup.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
