Here for sale we have an Epiphone inspired by Gibson Hummingbird 12 String in Aged Cherry Sunburst Gloss. Made in Indonesia in 2021, this guitar is part of the Inspired by Gibson series and features a Solid Sitka Spruce, Solid Mahogany back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Laurel fingerboard. Other appointments include a reverse belly Indian Laurel bridge, Grover Mini Rotomatic, and a Fishman Presys VT under saddle pickup, this is wired to a Fishman Presys VT Soundhole mounted Volume and Tone.
 
The Rounded ‘C’ profile sits comfortably in the hand, feeling quick and provides ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers. The Laurel fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and provides a smooth and reliable playing surface, whilst the traditional 12" radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bending. The dreadnought design fills the arms nicely, giving a lively and responsive playing experience.
 
The acoustic voice is clear and direct, with a warm, rounded low end, tight mids and a crisp, articulate top end, all without sounding overly bright. The under saddle Fishman Sonicore captures the natural voice of the instrument perfectly, whilst keeping things simple with a single volume and tone control mounted discreetly in the soundhole. Overall an excellent guitar, great for all sorts of genres but particularly excelling in singer-songwriter rhythm styles.
