Here for sale we have an Epiphone Les Paul Standard ‘50s in Ebony finish. Built in China in 2021, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Carved Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Laurel fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Nickel hardware including an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Epiphone LockTone StopBar tailpiece along with Grover Rotomatic tuning machines. A pair of Epiphone humbucking pickups are installed, with a ProBucker 1 in the neck and ProBucker 2 in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls. 
 
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘50s Rounded Medium ‘C’ profile feeling suitably chunky and vintage-inspired, whilst delivering a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Laurel fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth and durable playing surface across the register. The traditional 12” radius is paired with Medium Jumbo frets, ensuring that bending and vibrato techniques are a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, whilst the Chambered weight relief makes this Les Paul feel sprightly on the shoulders. 
 
The Epiphone ProBucker 1 humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end which works very well for lead and solo tones. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange which is perfect for chordal playing with clean sounds. The Epiphone ProBucker 2 in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end which cuts through the mix easily to push your rock riffs and rhythm parts to the front of the mix. The traditional control layout offers ample opportunities for shaping your tone whilst not intruding on the playing experience.
