Here for sale we have a Faith FG2RE Mars Legacy Series electro-acoustic guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Handmade in Indonesia and based on Patrick James Eggle's 'Kanuga' design, this instrument features an all-solid construction comprising a Torrefied Canadian Sitka Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Macassan Figured Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge and pickguard. A Bone saddle and nut are fitted, along with Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with Ebony buttons. A Fishman FLEX-BLEND hybrid pickup system is installed, and is wired to the FLEX-BLEND on-board preamp with multi-function controls and on-board tuner. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile which could be described as a slim 'D' shape which fills the hand comfortably without being at all cumbersome. This promotes ergonomic thumb positioning and easy reach across the register, perfect for a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck assists with smooth navigation of the 25.6" scale length, whilst the Macassan Figured Ebony adds a touch of luxury to the already opulent playing experience. The smooth lines of the drop-shoulder dreadnought body are as comfortable in the arms as ever, providing comfort in both standing and seated positions. 
 
The acoustic voice of the Faith FG2RE Mars is rich and deep, providing a strong bass response thanks to the large body design. The Solid Rosewood back and sides enhance the character of the tone, producing a smooth mid range to go along with the strong bass. The Torrefied Canadian Sitka Spruce top has been kiln dried to provide a mellow and mature voice which might take 20 years of playing to achieve naturally. Certainly, the trop projects well, providing a wide dynamic range and adding brightness to the tone which sparkles. The FIshman FLEX-BLEND system faithfully conveys the acoustic voice of the instrument while offering comprehensive control of the tone along with the convenience of an on-board tuner.
