Here for sale we have a Fender '50s Precision Bass in Fiesta Red. Built in Mexico in 2005 this bass features an Alder body, a Gloss finished Maple neck and a 20 fret Maple fingerboard. The hardware featured consists of a 4-Saddle American Vintage Bass, American Vintage Reverse Open-Gear Bass and a 1-Ply Gold Anodized Aluminum pickguard. This pickup fitted into this bass is a Fender Vintage-Style Split Single-Coil Precision Bass, this is wired to a master volume and tone control.

The Maple neck plays very comfortably, with the ‘C’ profile allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning. Having been inspired by the Precision basses of the 1950s, the neck feels wide but not in any way cumbersome. The double cutaway body design offers extended access into the upper register. This works well with the Gloss finish to the rear of the neck, allowing for smooth navigation of the 34” scale. The vintage style fret wire feels great under the fingers, and provides the versatility required for a wide range of styles and techniques.

The tone of the '50s Precision Bass is exactly what you’d expect from such a traditional design. It has deep, warm and rounded low ends that work well with the clear, precise mids and glistening trebles. There is plenty of grunt on offer, with a fast attack that will keep your playing at the front of the mix. The simplicity of the controls ensure that you can stay focused on your playing whilst still offering comprehensive control of your tone.
