Here for sale we have a Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass V in 3-Colour Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2005, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a select Alder body, a Maple neck topped with 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with a Fender 5-String Deluxe Bass bridge with through-body or top loading options and a set of Hipshot Ultralite tuning machines. A pair of Samarium Cobalt Noiseless (SCN) Single-Coil pickups are installed which are wired to a Master Volume, Pan control, Three-Band Active EQ with Treble Boost/Cut, Bass Boost/Cut and Mid Boost/Cut.
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with its ‘C’ profile feeling slim and responsive making for an efficient playing experience, whilst the fifth string is super easy to fret thanks to the slim easy to grip neck. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck feels pleasing under the thumb and enhances transitions up and down the neck whilst the double cut design of the body makes for great access to the higher register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and its 9.5” radius this neck offers an authentic Fender playing experience.
 
The pair of Samarium Cobalt Noiseless (SCN) Single-Coil pickups in this bass deliver thick and throaty bass tones, well suited to a wide range of genres. The neck pickup is warm and round, with a robust low end, driving mids and a sparkling treble response that captures the attack of your playing excellently. The bridge pickup is brighter, and helps to push your sound forward in the mix. The simple control layout allows the player to blend the pickups in any combination, and with the Treble Boost/Cut, Bass Boost/Cut and Mid Boost/Cut controls there are a very wide range of tones on offer.
