Here for sale we have a Fender American Original '60s Jazz Bass in 3-Color Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2018, this bass is modelled on the Jazz Bass specification from its earliest incarnation at release in 1960, and includes a Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish as well as Pure Vintage pickups and vintage-correct cloth wiring. Naturally a bolt-on construction is employed, and comprises an Alder body, Maple neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Nickel/Chrome hardware is fitted, including a 4-Saddle Vintage-style top-loading bridge with threaded steel saddles and Pure Vintage Reverse Open-Gear tuning machines. A pair of Fender Pure Vintage '64 Jazz Bass Single-Coil pickups are installed, and are wired to independent volume controls and a master tone. 
 
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the '60s ‘C' profile allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning across the register. The Gloss finish to the rear is fantastic for smooth and speedy transitions up and down the neck. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 9.5” radius and Vintage Tall frets deliver a suitably vintage-inspired playing experience whilst facilitating a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The double cutaway and contoured body design provides unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience.
 
The Fender Pure Vintage '64 Jazz Bass Single-Coil pickups deliver classic original-era tone and power, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. The simple control layout provides a comprehensive range of sounds without over complicating things or getting in the way of the playing experience. The pots feel nicely responsive, allowing you to blend the pickups as desired and achieve your perfect tone with ease. A vintage-correct example of one of Fender's most popular bass guitars, with a nitro finish that will age gracefully.
