Here for sale we have a Fender Classic Player '60s Stratocaster in 3-Color Sunburst finish. Made in Mexico in 2009, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Vintage-Style Stamped Steel saddles and Vintage-Style locking tuning machines. A trio of Fender Custom Shop '69 Strat single-coil pickups are installed and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck tone and middle/bridge tone controls. 
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with the 'C' shape profile feeling moderately-sized in the hand for a well-balanced playing experience. Substantial enough for a firm grip when chord playing, yet slim enough to facilitate fast articulate lead lines and solos. The Rosewood fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with a rather unusual-for-Fender 12" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The Medium Jumbo frets assist with  string bending and vibrato techniques, whilst also adding a sense of rock-solid dependability to the playing experience. 
 
The trio of Fender Custom Shop '69 Strat single-coil pickups installed in this guitar make use of Enamel-Coated magnet wire, staggered pole-pieces and Alnico V magnets to deliver a full and punchy range of tones with plenty of clarity and transparency. The neck position is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your lead and solo tones to the front of the mix. The middle pickup is nicely bright and punchy, perfectly capturing those funky rhythm sounds that the Strat is famed for. The bridge pickup is brighter still, and with a higher output is well-suited to searing rock riffing with plenty of drive. A lovely workhorse Strat that will bring hours of playing enjoyment to its new owner.
