Here for sale we have a Fender Mahogany Offset Telecaster in Natural Mahogany finish. Crafted in Japan in 2018, this unique guitar is a fusion of two of Fenders most iconic guitars, combining a Jazzmaster body with a Telecaster neck and hardware along with a fusion of the pickup configurations. The guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with chrome hardware including 3-Saddle Strings-Thru-Body Tele Bridge, Vintage Style machines. The pickups are a Soapbar P-90 pickup in the neck position and a Vintage Style Single Coil Tele pickup in the bridge, these are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls.
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the 'U' profile feeling substantial yet comfortable in the hand and providing a smooth glossy surface that is easy to navigate. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its slightly flatter than usual 10" radius allowing the player to glide across the fingerboard and hit bends otherwise not available on a more curved radius. This is enhanced by the medium frets which offer a perfect balance between comfortable fretting and bending and vibrato techniques. The deep cutaway on the body provides fantastic access to the upper frets, whilst the belly carve ensures optimal comfort whilst seated.
 
The pickup choice in this guitar is a perfect combination and provides a satisfying combination of Jazzmaster and Telecaster tones. The Soapbar P-90 neck position is warm and round, and offers crystal clarity with clean sounds associated with the rhythmic tone of a Jazzmaster. The Vintage Style Single Coil Tele in the bridge position is bright and snappy, with plenty of the bite and twang for lead lines which will cut through any mix. The simple and intuitive master tone and volume controls allow for the perfect tone to be dialled in with ease.
