Here for sale we have a Fender Road Worn ‘72 Telecaster Deluxe in Olympic White finish. Made in Mexico in 2009, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 21 Medium Jumbo fret Maple fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Vintage Strat Style Hardtail bridge, Fender Vintage ‘F’ Style tuning machines and 3-Bolt Neck Plate with Micro-Tilt Adjustment. A pair of Fender ‘Wide Range’ Humbuckers are installed, these are wired to a 3-way pickup selector, independent volume and independent tone controls.
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Maple fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 12” radius is well suited to lead lines and string bending. This paired with the Medium Jumbo frets ensures a playing experience which is perfect for the more technical player. The 'Worn' finish to the rear of the neck is akin to Satin that makes it very tactile and pleasing under the thumb and ensures that navigation of the 25.5" scale length is an absolute breeze. 
 
The Wide-Range humbuckers sound thick and full, with a solid low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with classic Fender treble. The pickups cut through nicely, putting your playing front and centre in even the densest of mixes. The controls feel responsive, offering a wide range of sounds. Overall offering more power than is usual for Fender without entirely losing the signature character.
