Here for sale we have a Fender Standard Stratocaster in Brown Sunburst finish. Made in Mexico in 2007, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 21 Vintage fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted, including a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo and Fender Sealed tuning machines. A trio of Fender Standard Strat single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume neck tone and middle tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate lead lines. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck is pleasant to the touch and assists with smooth and speedy navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard has a nice tight grain, and with its 9.5" radius provides a smooth, durable and practical surface for a wide variety of playing styles and techniques. This is enhanced by the Vintage frets, which encourage faster playing whilst improving the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques.
The trio of Fender Standard Strat single-coil pickups installed in this guitar deliver traditional Stratocaster tones in spades, with 5-way switching and comprehensive controls providing the wide range of versatile tones that the Strat is famous for. The neck is warm and round whilst providing all the power required to push your solos to the front of the mix. The middle position is well suited to funky clean tones, whilst the bridge delivers a searing output for rocking riffs and that classic Fender 'Twang'.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Any markings are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Any markings are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. The lacquer has chipped around the neck pocket on the rear side where it meets the neck, which is of no structural concern. There are light scratches to the guitar however these can only be observed under close scrutiny.
Condition of Frets:
The frets show light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool included.
Hardware: Excellent condition and fully functional. Trem arm included. The original white pickguard has been replaced with a tortoiseshell one. Structural: No structural concerns to note. The strap button on the bass side horn presents oxidation.
