Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul ‘100’ Less + in Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2015, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Carved Flame Maple top, and a Mahogany neck topped with a 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with Chrome hardware including Tune-O-Matic bridge and StopBar tailpiece, as well as Gibson Deluxe tuning machines with Kluson ‘Tulip’ style buttons. The pickups installed are a pair of Gibson humbuckers, with a '57 Classic in the neck and ‘57 Classic Plus in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volume controls, master tone and a Mini-Toggle Coil Split.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the rounded profile feeling substantial in the hand without being cumbersome, and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The increased 1.785” nut width retains traditional Les Paul string spacing, reducing the chance of ‘falling off’ the board during string bending and vibrato techniques. The body has been slimmed down considerably and still features traditional weight relief routing, as well as an additional belly carve body contour. The result is a lightweight but authentic guitar that offers a supremely comfortable playing experience in any position. The removal of the Gibson G-Force robotic tuning system is a very common modification on these guitars, arguably making the instrument more usable and certainly more reliable.
Whilst it might have 'Less' in the name, it's certainly not 'Less' by nature with this guitar. The '57 Classic humbuckers provide a thick and rich tone that will rival Les Paul Standards. The neck position is warm and round, with huge solo tones and smooth, buttery distortion on offer. The ‘57 Classic Plus in the bridge delivers a little extra edge, great for putting your hard rock rhythm tones front and centre in the mix. The Mini-Toggle coil split feature allows you to thin down the sound for those clean sections or a more subtle crunch tone. A very versatile guitar with a perfectly balanced blend of traditional and modern appointments. This guitar truly is a fantastic celebration of its inventor's 100th birthday.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The top edge shows light indentation and chipping of the finish. This is most notable at the bass side rear edge where the finish is lightly pierced. Light to mild scratching of the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentations to the rear of the neck are most notable in the early register. Whilst very gently felt under the thumb in the playing position, they do not impact the overall playability of the instrument. A very light indentation to the bass side of the fingerboard at the first fret is not felt under the fingers. Very light scratching to the rear of the neck can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Body: Overall very good condition. A small indentation lightly pierces the finish and exposes the wood at the rear face close to the jack socket. Light indentations which do not pierce the finish are present around the front face lower bout. The front face displays very light nitro checking, most notably near the controls. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets show light signs of use, not affecting playability. Flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register, with very light denting visible in the early register. There is moderate material remaining for any light fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. Truss rod tool (socket 5/16") included.
Hardware: Fully functional with mild signs of wear. The pickguard shows light indentation,along with very light tarnishing of the metal hardware. The original Gibson G-Force tuners have been replaced with a set of Gibson Deluxe tuning machines. The original parts are not included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
