Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Standard in Ebony finish. Made in the USA in 2002, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with carved Maple cap, Mahogany neck and a 22 Medium Jumbo fret bound Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with a set of Gibson Deluxe tuning machines and a Chrome Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The pickups are a pair of Gibson Burstbucker humbuckers, these are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 60’s profile providing a much slimmer shape when compared with more traditional Gibson necks. This allows for more technical playing to be executed more ergonomically whilst still retaining the solid feel of a Gibson neck. The traditional 12" fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and smooth lead lines, making for a truly authentic yet refined Les Paul playing experience, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard adorned with 22 frets provides a rock-solid playing surface whilst also assisting with string bending and vibrato techniques.
The pair of Gibson Burstbucker humbuckers in this guitar offer warm and rich tones, exactly as you would expect from a Les Paul. The Burstbucker neck humbucker is thick and creamy, saturating beautifully into full-bodied distortion as you crank the gain whilst turning the volume and tone controls provides a crisp, crystalline clean tone. The Burstbucker in the bridge position is a hotter pickup, helping you to cut through any mix with searing lead tones. The traditional Les Paul control layout keeps things feeling simple, with easy and intuitive tonal shaping.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
