Here for sale we have an Ibanez Artcore AF105 Hollow Body Electric Guitar. Made in China in 2011 this guitar is constructed using a Laminate Flame Maple for the top along with Flame Maple back and sides. An eye catching Violin Burst finish completes the striking look of the instrument. The 5-pc Maple/Walnut neck is glued to a 22-fret Rosewood Fingerboard, whilst the VT-04 Tailpiece features a Rosewood cover. The guitar is fitted with two Ibanez Super 58 Humbuckers which are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls and a 3-way pickup selector.
The AF105 was designed to tailor for traditional Jazz players, with the fully hollow body design combined with the Maple tonewoods offering a resonant tone well suited to Jazz. Unlike other larger Jazz style guitars however, this instrument offers a comfortable feel in the hands with a slim profile allowing for smooth navigation in all registers of the neck. A Venetian cutaway provides full access to the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
The pair of Ibanez “Super 58” humbuckers provide classic jazz voicings whilst also being versatile enough to cover a wide variety of tonal styles. They are clear and articulate, and while they are not best suited to high gain they respond well to low/mid overdrive, great for solos or an extra bit of grit.
The bridge pickup has beautiful clarity, allowing for shimmering trebles to ring through whilst the middle position is the best of both the neck and bridge pickup, creating smooth and defined voicings. The neck position has rounded creamer tones great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, offering plenty of room for tonal scaping.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, with light scratching to the front and rear, visible under direct light.
Neck: At the top of the neck, the headstock has been re-glued after a previous break. Due to this, the finish is missing over the crack. The instrument stays in tune and has no issues with structure when under full tension. The repair can be felt on the treble side slightly under the finger. A small dent can be seen and felt behind the 3rd fret. The fingerboard also presents light scratching in the middle register towards the treble side.
Body: Overall very good condition, with light scratching to the front and back face, visible under direct light.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.
