Here for sale we have an Ibanez AZES31 Electric Guitar from 2021 in Ivory finish. Made in Indonesia, this guitar consists of a Poplar body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Jatoba fingerboard. Other features include Ibanez machine heads, a F106 bridge w/ Comfort round Steel saddles, and a set of three Essentials Single-Coil pickups. The controls are made up of a master volume, master tone, 5-way pickup selector, and a dyna-MIX8 switching system with an alter switch.
The AZES profile feels balanced, offering a slimmer feel to the neck than a usual 'S-style' yet retains a solid grip in the hands of the player. The Satin finish on the rear of the neck provides a smooth, fast surface to manoeuvre up and down the register with ease accentuated by the double cutaway design which gives the player extended reach into the upper frets. The Medium frets enhance vibrato and bending techniques, feeling smooth on bends - great for blues and rock leads. The 9.84" radius also gives a balanced feel to the guitar being great for both chordal and lead style playing with the Jatoba fretboard feeling particularly silky when fretting.
The Essentials Single-Coils generate a range of sounds. The neck pickup produces a warm, rounded tone that delivers glassy cleans and clear tones that cut through well. The middle pickup falls between the warm neck and bridge pickup which offers a more treble focused tone with crisp highs whilst retaining balanced mids and low end. The master tone controls allow the player to roll off some of the top end which allow the player to dial in their own tone along with the easy to access blade switch at the players fingertips making switching between these easy. The Dyna-MIX8 Switching system offers eight sound variations, and even emulates a humbucker sound when using two single-coil pickups. Overall this guitar is a versatile instrument however is perfect for blues, rock, and indie players alike.
