Here for sale we have an Ibanez Ergodyne EBD500 Electric Bass in Iron Pewter finish. Made in Korea in 1998, this bass consists of a Luthite body, a 3-piece Maple neck and a 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This bass is fitted with a Chrome Ibanez Standard 4 bridge and sealed tuning machines. The pickups featured consist of a Ibanez DXH-MN in the neck position and a Ibanez DXH-MB in the bridge position, these are wired to a bridge volume, neck volume, master tone and a Phat EQ.
The 3-piece Maple ‘EDB4’ neck profile allows you to navigate the Rosewood fingerboard with ease, allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning. The 12” radius provides a comfortable playing surface and with the 1.49” nut width allows for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The Gloss finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck whilst the double cutaway body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register.
The pair of Ibanez DXH-M active pickups produce a modern voicing, which offers a massive reduction in noise, the thick low end is complemented by driving mids and sparkly top end that helps put your playing front and centre in the mix. The simplistic nature of the control layout provides the player with an easy ‘plug in and go’ characteristic for ease of tonal sculpting.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the front and rear face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. Light scuffing is present to the top side edge.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the fingerboard, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the higher register and can not be felt under the finger in playing position. Very light denting is present to the rear of the neck. On the back of the neck white speckles of paint can be seen.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the front and rear face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the front face upper horn. Speckles of white paint can be seen most notably near the neck pocket.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. No truss rod tool included (hex 4mm)
Hardware: Fully functional with signs of wear. A screw is missing from the backplate. The truss rod cover is missing a screw and has split on the treble side corner.
