Here for sale we have an Ibanez FRM300 Fireman Paul Gilbert Signature electric guitar in Purple finish. Made in China in 2021, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Okoume body, a 3-Piece Okoume/Maple neck and a 22 Tall Narrow fret Ebony fingerboard. The hardware featured consists of a Ibanez Gibraltar Performer bridge and a Quik Change III tailpiece along with a set of upgraded Gotoh Magnum 510 locking tuning machines. The pickups installed in this guitar are a trio of Dimarzio PG-13 mini humbuckers, these are wired to a 5-way pickup selector, master volume and a master tone control.
 
The 3-Piece Okoume/Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, and with its ‘FRM’ profile fills the hand feeling chunky yet offers a quick and smooth surface to navigate on. The Ebony fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers whilst the 12” radius and Tall Narrow frets assist with string bending and vibrato techniques, feeling rock solid under the fingers and providing a smooth and reliable playing surface. The unique body design which Paul Gilbert devised himself offers uncompromised access to the higher frets for those blistering lead lines, whilst the body contours offer a guitar that is comfortable in both sitting and standing positions.
 
This guitar is fitted with a trio of Dimarzio PG-13 mini humbuckers specially designed by Larry Dimarzio and Paul Gilbert. The Dimarzio PG-13 bridge pickup delivers a powerful but balanced rock and metal tone with rich upper-midrange harmonic content. The low strings are tight and the high strings scream with harmonics, making it a go-to pickup for hard-hitting crunch rhythms and blazing lead tones. The Dimarzio PG-13 in the middle position sits great with a nice balance of bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. Providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. The Dimarzio PG-13 neck position offers all the soloing clarity you could wish for, with sweet sustain and a warm, full sound that still possesses a clear attack providing a hot output delivering smooth, fluid solo tones under gain, while still being capable of bell-like clean tones.
