Here for sale we have a Ibanez GSR206 6-string bass in Gloss Black finish. Built in Indonesia in 2016, this bass features a bolt-on construction Poplar body, Satin finished Maple neck and a 22 Medium fret Jatoba fingerboard. This bass is fitted with a Chrome Ibanez B16 bridge and sealed tuning machines. The pickups featured consist of a pair of Ibanez Dynamix pickups, these are wired to a bridge volume, neck volume, master tone and a Phat ll EQ control.
The Maple ‘GSR6’ neck profile allows you to navigate the Jatoba fingerboard with ease, allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning. The 15.74” radius provides a comfortable playing surface and with the 2.1” nut width allows for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The Satin finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck whilst the double cutaway body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register.
The pair of Ibanez Dynamix pickups produce a modern voicing, which offers a massive reduction in noise, the thick low end is complemented by driving mids and sparkly top end that helps put your playing front and centre in the mix. The simplistic nature of the control layout provides the player with an easy ‘plug in and go’ characteristic for ease of tonal sculpting, whilst the Phat ll EQ adds extra depth to the overall tone providing a wide variety of sounds for the player to dial in their ideal sound.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Very light scratching is present to the front face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. Light scuffing is present to the top side edge.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light denting is present to the rear of the neck. This is most noticeable to the bass side in the lower register and can be lightly felt under the finger in playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the front face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable around the lower bout.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
