Here for sale we have an Ibanez RG1527 Prestige in Royal Blue finish. Made in Japan in 2006, this guitar is part of Ibanez's ‘Prestige’ line of instruments, and features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, 5-piece Maple/Wenge neck and 24 Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. Cosmo Black hardware is fitted including a Ibanez Edge Pro 7 tremolo bridge and a set of Gotoh SG381 machine heads. The pickups installed in an HH configuration consist of a Bare Knuckle humbucker in the bridge and a Ibanez V77 in the neck position. These are wired to a 5-way blade selector, master volume and a master tone control.
 
The 5-piece Maple/Wenge neck sits comfortably in the hand with the 1.900” nut spacing not being cumbersome. The Ultra Prestige neck profile feels incredibly ergonomic, allowing for great thumb placement all across the neck, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard and Jumbo frets provide a robust playing experience that feels rock solid under the fingers, while enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The 15” provides an even and balanced feel across the strings, particularly in drop tunings. The contoured neck heel provides unobstructed access to the upper register, which works great with the double cutaway body design. 
 
Amplified, this guitar has a thick low end grunt and sculpted mid range thanks to the pickups featured. The Bareknuckle humbucker in the bridge position delivers powerful but balanced rock and metal tones with rich upper-midrange harmonic content. The low strings are tight and the high strings scream with harmonics, making it a go-to pickup for hard-hitting crunch rhythms and blazing lead tones. The Ibanez V77 humbucker in the neck position offers all the soloing clarity you could wish for, with sweet sustain and a warm, full sound that still possesses a clear attack providing a hot output delivering smooth, fluid solo tones under gain, while still being capable of bell-like clean tones.
