Here for sale we have an Ibanez SA420X Electric Guitar in Deep Red finish. Made in Japan in 2002, this bolt-on constructed guitar features a Mahogany body, Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include an SAT30SX Tremolo bridge, Beehive knobs, Gotoh SG381 machine heads, a set of Ibanez V pickups, and individual piezo saddle pickups. The pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, Piezo Volume, 5-way pickup selector, and a 3-way Mixed Output Toggle.
The Ultra neck profile is a modern classic, providing a quick and easy playing surface, along with the jumbo frets giving you plenty to work with when bending. The dual cutaways give great access to the upper register of the guitar and the contoured neck heel makes for comfortable hand positioning in the cutaways.
The Ibanez V pickups sound thick and powerful, with a solid low end, a punchy and driving mid range, along with aggressive high frequencies. The 5-way switch provides plenty of tonal versatility, with the humbucking tones in the outer and middle positions and split coil sounds in positions 2 and 4, utilising the inner coils of the pickups along with a piezo bridge, offering the best of both worlds when it comes to tone, allowing you to either isolate the humbuckers through one output, or even send the signals to separate amplifiers.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very condition, all aspects of the headstock demonstrate light to mild scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. On the treble side edge of the neck a small indentation is present, this can be felt under the fingers.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates very light discolouration near the neck pocket. The fingerboard displays light tooling marks, this is most notable at the 7th, 13th and 14th frets, these can not be felt in the playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition, a moderate indentation is present to the bass side edge of the front face, this has chipped through to the wood beneath. cracking but not chipping the finish. An indentation is apparent to the rear face on the bass side edge, this exposes the wood beneath. All faces of the body display light to mild scratching and indentations.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool not included.
Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear, most notably light signs of oxidation to the bridge saddles. Tremolo arm is not included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
