Here for sale we have an Ibanez SR405EMQM in Surreal Black Burst finish. Built in Indonesia in 2019, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising Nyatoh body with quilted Maple top and a 5-Piece Maple and Walnut neck topped with 24 fret Maple fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with a Accu-cast B305 fixed bridge and Chrome hardware. A pair of Ibanez PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups are installed which are wired to Ibanez’s custom 3-band EQ and powertap switch as well a Balancer and Master volume.
The 5-Piece Maple/Walnut neck plays very well, with its SR5 profile feeling slim and responsive making for an efficient playing experience that you would expect from Ibanez. The fifth string is super easy to fret thanks to the slim easy to grip neck. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck feels pleasing under the thumb and enhances transitions up and down the neck whilst the double cut design of the body makes for great access to the higher register. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and its 12” radius this neck is designed to accommodate any playing style. The medium frets offer a rock solid playing surface whilst enhancing vibrato feel.
The PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups sound thick and full. These passive humbucking pickups have a versatile range of tones thanks to being wired to a 3-way power tap. This gives the bass huge tonal opportunities giving you the choice between both Humbuckers running in series or instead running as single coils. In the down position you can achieve a single coil with a power boost meaning the can have a brighter, clearer sound without losing the volume. Whatever sounds you aspire to achieve, this bass can deliver tones that are rich in harmonic detail and dynamic expression.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The tip of the headstock displays light scratching. All other markings are hard to distinguish against the finish.
Neck: Overall very good condition. On the 6th fret of the fingerboard wear marks are present, these can not be felt under the fingers and can only be seen under direct light. All other aspects of the neck present minimal signs of past use.
Body: Overall excellent condition. Any markings are difficult to discern against the finish of the body.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. (hex 4mm)
Hardware: Overall very good condition. The bridge and tuning machines display slight discoloration, this is common with regular use in high contact areas.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2.75mm - Bass 2.25mm
