Here for sale we have a Jackson DX10D Dinky in Gloss Black finish. Made in Japan in 2008, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome/Black hardware is fitted including a Jackson branded double-locking tremolo system and Jackson sealed tuning machines. A pair of Duncan Designed humbucking pickups are fitted, with an HB103N in the neck and a HB-103B in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls.
The Maple neck plays well, with Jackson's 'Speed Neck' profile feeling incredibly fast and precise in the hand for a razor sharp playing experience in any register. The Satin finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale, and along with the generous cutaways, the scalloped neck heel offers completely unrestricted access to the upper frets. The compound fingerboard radius starts at 12" in the lower register for comfortable chord playing, transitioning smoothly to a nicely flat 14" in the upper register for articulate lead lines. The Jumbo frets provide a rock-solid, confidence inspiring playing surface, with improved feel for vibrato and string bending techniques.
The pair of passive Duncan Designed humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied distortion tones, perfect for the shred and guitar-acrobatic styles that this guitar lends itself to. The neck pickup produces a huge wall of sound, driving your lead lines and solos right to the front of the mix with a round yet still aggressive tone. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, saturating into a searing distortion tone for your rock and metal riffs and rhythm parts. Whilst clearly focussed on high gain sounds, the pickups do offer a clear and precise clean tone, meaning that those softer sections of the set won't require a guitar change.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall good condition. A notable chip is present at the rear edge of the tip, with some material missing. Light to mild indentations are present around the perimeter of the front face, most notably to the bass side edge near the 6th E tuner where the wood is lightly exposed. Light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Discoloration to the finish can be seen at the treble side of the nut. The rear of the neck has been lightly sanded by a previous owner to achieve a satin finish. This has left light scratching present across the register. The fingerboard displays light scratching which does not impact playability. This is most notable at the frets 16-18.
Body: Overall good condition. The front and rear faces of the body display moderate scratching which can be seen in most lighting. Light to mild indentations to all aspects of the body pierce the finish in places, most notably to the treble side and lower bout of the rear face. A finish crack is present at the treble side of the neck pocket. This has been tested and presents no structural concerns.
Condition of Frets:
The frets show mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any light fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (7mm socket) not included.
Hardware: Functional with moderate wear. The pickup rings have cracked but remain functional. This is more notable to the neck pickup ring. Two of the screw holes to the tremolo cavity cover have cracked and some of the plastic is missing, along with one of the screws. The tremolo arm and socket have been replaced with appropriate black replacements by a previous owner. The tightening screw for the arm only turns so far before locking the arm in place. All of the metal hardware displays oxidation and tarnishing.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
