Here for sale we have a Jackson Rhoads RR3 electric guitar in Gloss Black finish. Made in Japan this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and a 22 Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Black hardware including a Jackson double locking tremolo system and a set of Jackson sealed tuning machines. The pickups installed are a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers with a JB in the bridge position and a Jazz in the neck position, these are wired to a 3-way selector, bridge volume, neck volume and a master tone control. 
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with a thin profile sitting comfortably in the hand and offering a razor sharp and precise playing experience in all registers. The neck is certainly slim, and features a flattened area to the centre that provides ergonomic thumb positioning for those fast lead lines and solos. This is enhanced by the Rosewood fingerboard, which with its 14"-16" compound radius delivers a tailored playing experience in any position. Chord playing is comfortable in the lower register, whilst the flatter radius in the higher register is well suited to lead playing and string bending. The Jumbo frets provide a rock solid playing surface, whilst also improving vibrato and string bending feel. 
 
The pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers installed in this guitar produce a thick and full-bodied tone, perfect for more distortion-heavy styles of music. The Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck position is nicely round, with an articulate and detailed bass response, driving mids and shimmering high frequencies that cut through the mix very effectively. The Seymour Duncan JB bridge pickup is clearly brighter, and with a higher output saturates into a searing distortion when cranking the grain. The simple controls offer comprehensive control of your tone without being intrusive, meaning you can focus on your playing and have you going off the rails on a crazy train.
