Here for sale we have a Martin DXK2AE Electro Acoustic Guitar in Natural Koa finish. Made in Mexico in 2016, this guitar consists of a Koa HPL top, Koa HPL back and sides, a Birch laminate neck, and a 20-fret Richlite fingerboard. Other appointments include Chrome Enclosed Gear tuners, a Herringbone Ink rosette, and a Fishman Sonitone pickup system with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls.
 
The Birch Laminate neck plays extremely well, with Martins Performing Artist High Performance Taper neck profile feeling nicely thin in the hand allowing for a fluid and responsive playing experience in all registers. The satin finish to the rear of the neck provides easy and comfortable thumb placements. The classic dreadnought shape delivers a comfortable playing experience in both seated and standing positions, and provides the player with a lively and responsive feel.
 
The Koa HPL top and HPL back and sides provide a clear and open voice to the instrument. A rounded bottom end is present in the tone, with clarity to the trebles making the voicing very well balanced whilst also being able to distinguish individual notes. The Fishman pickup system does a great job of interpreting the tone of the guitar, with simple and intuitive controls for volume and tone, mounted in the sound hole for discreet control.
