Here for sale we have a Martin D-X2E Mahogany Dreadnought Electro Acoustic Guitar. Built in Mexico, for Martin's new X series line that features all new HPL patterns, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a laminated Spruce top, Mahogany-Pattern High Pressure Laminate body, Select Hardwood neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Chrome hardware and a Fishman System 1 electronics which features a volume, treble, and bass control on the side of the guitar.
 
The Select Hardwood neck plays extremely well, with Martin's Performing Artist neck profile feeling nicely thin in the hand allowing for a fluid and responsive playing experience in all registers. The satin finish to the rear of the neck provides easy and comfortable thumb placements. The classic dreadnought shape delivers a comfortable playing experience in both seated and standing positions, and provides the player with a lively and responsive feel.
 
The Laminated Spruce top and Laminated Mahogany back and sides provide a clear and open voice to the instrument. A rounded bottom end is present in the tone, with clarity to the trebles making the voicing very well balanced whilst also being able to distinguish individual notes. The Fishman pickup system does a great job of interpreting the tone of the guitar, with simple and intuitive controls for volume, treble, and bass.
