Here for sale we have a Schecter Traditional Van Nuys in Gloss Natural Ash finish. Made in Indonesia in 2020, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Ash body, Roasted Maple neck and 22 fret Roasted Maple fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Schecter Diamond Vintage Tremolo bridge and Schecter Locking tuning machines. The trio of Schecter USA pickups are installed in an HSS configuration, with a SuperRock Vintage humbucker in the bridge and MasterTone single-coils in the neck and middle positions. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and a master tone control with a push/pull coil split. 
 
The Roasted Maple neck plays superbly, with the Vintage ‘C’ profile and satin finish feeling quick and smooth in the hand and allowing for fluid leads and effortless thumb positioning. Whilst designated 'Vintage', the profile is certainly not too thick, striking a happy medium between vintage feel and modern practicality. The jumbo fret wire feels rock solid under the fingers for vibrato and string bending techniques, and along with the 14" radius ensure that lead lines and solos are a breeze. The generous cutaways and slightly sculpted neck heel enhance access to the upper frets, whilst the traditional 'S' style contours enhance comfort on long gigs. 
 
The trio of Schecter USA pickups installed in this guitar deliver incredible versatility, making use of the HSS configuration as well as a coil split for the ridge humbucker to ensure that this guitar is ready for wherever the gig takes you. The single-coils pickups in neck and middle position are crisp and bell-like, providing excellent chime and articulation, reminiscent of 80s super strat tones. Pair with chorus and you’re set! The humbucker in bridge position is thick and powerful sounding without having an imbalanced output relative to the single coils. It drives the front end of an amp well and has a cutting and punchy midrange. A seriously versatile workhorse for the gigging musician.
