Here for sale we have a Spear RD-W in Black Open Pore finish. Built in 2008, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Chrome hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece along with Spear sealed tuning machines. The Pickups are a pair of Spear 'Buckers Humbuckers, wired to a 3-way selector bridge volume and tone and neck volume and tone controls.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the profile resembling a ‘D’, feeling slim and providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The single cutaway body design provides the player with unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those high end lead lines.
The Spear 'Buckers humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Spear 'Buckers humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition.Scuffing and denting is present to the top side edge and to top of the front face.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the fingerboard and the rear of the neck, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the upper register of the fingerboard and can not be felt under the finger in playing position. Light denting is present to the rear of the neck, most noticeable to the centre lower register. This can be lightly felt under the finger in the playing position.
Body: Overall good condition. Light scratching, denting and chipping to the finish and wood are visible to the front face, rear face and lower bout side edge. This is most noticeable around the lower bout side edge and to the edges of the front and rear face.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
