Here for sale we have a Stanford Crossroad 35 Thinline in Vintage Blonde finish. This Thinline guitar is a tribute to one of the most famous electric guitar models of all time, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body topped with a Maple Veneer, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with a Tune-o-matic Bridge, stoptail piece and Kluson style Tulip button tuners, plus a sustain block. The pickups installed are a pair of Stanford Classic 59 humbuckers. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent Volume and Tone controls.
The Solid Maple neck plays very well, with its ‘C’ profile neck feeling nice and full in the hands giving you all the familiarity and dependability you want from a guitar neck. The gloss finish to the rear is responsive, giving your playing an agile feeling, while the dark Rosewood fingerboard feels smooth and durable. The 12” fretboard radius feels perfectly balanced and classic, that's perfect for playing big jazzy chords with your thumb over the top or picking blues lines.
The Stanford Classic 59 humbuckers sound warm and balanced, with plenty of clarity in the neck and a hot sound in the bridge. The thick yet smooth low end is complemented well by a detailed midrange, whilst the high frequencies are bright providing plenty of bite. The familiar control layout provides comprehensive control of your tone without being intrusive.
