Here for sale we have a Tanglewood Winterleaf TW4 E Koa electro acoustic guitar in Autumn Burst Gloss finish. Made in China in 2020 this guitar features a Solid Mahogany top with a Koa veneer, Mahogany back and sides, a Mahogany neck and 21-fret Eboncore fingerboard with matching bridge. Other appointments include a set of Grover tuning machines and a Fishman Presys system with controls for Volume, contour, phase and a built in tuner.
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ profile feeling nice and moderate in the hand; not too large for articulate playing whilst remaining substantial enough to sustain a comfortable grip when chord playing. The Eboncore fingerboard feels pleasant to the touch and the 14" radius feeling as flat and consistent as ever, fretting is a breezy and sumptuous affair in any register. The body size feels great in both seated and standing positions, ensuring comfort on long practice sessions and gigs.
 
This instrument voice is warm and detailed, with the Koa back and sides producing a loud and responsive midrange. The Solid Mahogany top provides a balanced tone with plenty of low end power and warm detail. The understated high end of this guitar remains detailed but subtle, adding unique character to this guitar, making this guitar perfect for singer songwriter styles of playing. The body size produces a loud and powerful tone, yet there is plenty of dynamic range to be achieved with this instrument. The Fishman Presys System interprets the voice of the guitar in a discreet and intuitive package, keeping with the refined aesthetic of the guitar.
