Here for sale we have a Taylor 214ce-N Electro Acoustic Classical guitar in Satin Natural finish. Made in Mexico in 2022, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising Laminated Rosewood back and sides, Solid Sitka Spruce top, Tropical Mahogany neck, and 20 fret Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. This guitar is fitted with a TUSQ saddle and nut, as well as Chrome tuning machines with Pearloid buttons. A Taylor ES-N undersaddle transducer pickup is fitted, and is wired to the traditional Taylor shoulder-mounted controls for master volume, bass & treble.

The Tropical Mahogany neck plays very well, with Taylor's 'Standard Carve' profile resembling a 'C' shape that feels nice and moderate in the hand; not too large for articulate playing whilst remaining substantial enough to sustain a comfortable grip when chord playing. The Ebony fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, and with it's traditional flat radius provides a playing experience that will feel familiar to classical players. The smooth lines of the Grand Auditorium body are comfortable in the arms, and with two strap buttons is comfortable and practical in both standing and seated positions.

The voice of the Taylor 214ce-N is nicely gentle and balanced, delivering an open clarity on both melodic lines, fingerstyle and chordal playing. The low end is warm without being too soft, the mid range is clear and open, whilst the top end is nice and bright without sounding brittle. Equally at home as a solo instrument or part of an ensemble, the Taylor 214ce-N makes an excellent stage-partner for the seasoned classical musician and dabbling steel string player alike. Equipped with the Taylor ES-N system, this guitar is ready for wherever the gig takes you, whether that be the stage, studio or anywhere else.

Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you.
