Here for sale we have a Taylor 514ce Grand Auditorium electro acoustic guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Built in the USA in 2000 this guitar features a Cedar top, a Mahogany neck, back and sides, an Ebony fingerboard and bridge. The Preamp system featured is a Fishman Prefix Onboard Blender, with controls for volume, notch, bass, contour, treble, frequency, phase and pickup blend.

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Standard Carve’ profile that provides ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Venetian cutaway allows for easy access to the higher frets and a low action allows for playing with less pressure which is great when playing in a fingerpicking style. The Ebony fingerboard feels luxurious to the touch, and with Taylor's usual 15" radius providing a flat and consistent surface to navigate on.

The Cedar top offers a warm voice, articulating very well, providing a loud projection. The Mahogany back and sides compliment this perfectly, giving the guitar a smooth response while still packing an excellent dynamic range. The Fishman Prefix preamp system offers excellent tonal shaping, perfect for any playing situation you find yourself in. When amplified through the Fishman Prefix pickup, the guitar's natural acoustic sound is accurately reproduced with clarity and balance, allowing players to capture the full tonal character of the instrument in live performance or recording situations.
