Here for sale we have a Taylor Builder's Edition 717e Grand Pacific Dreadnought Electro-Acoustic guitar in Satin Natural finish. Made in the USA in 2019 this guitar features an all-solid construction comprising Indian Rosewood back and sides, Torrefied Spruce top, Sapele binding, Tropical Mahogany neck and 20 fret West African Crelicam Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. This guitar is fitted with a set of sealed Taylor tuning machines, along with a Black Tusq Nut and a Micarta Saddle. The electronics featured in this guitar consists of a Taylor Expression System 2 with controls for volume, bass and treble.
 
The Tropical Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Compound Carve profile that encourages ergonomic thumb positioning and offers a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The West African Crelicam Ebony fingerboard is supremely comfortable under the fingers and adds a real sense of luxury to the instrument. The 15" fingerboard radius provides a fine balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for fingerpicking and lead lines. The Grand Pacific dreadnought body is as comfortable in the arms as ever, and with two strap buttons comfort is ensured in both standing and seated positions. 
 
The voice of the Taylor 717e is finely balanced, with the Indian Rosewood back and sides providing a deep, rich low end and strong mids. The Torrefied Spruce top adds a warmth and brightness to the sound that beautifully colours every note played on the instrument. The Grand Pacific dreadnought body shape is renowned for good projection, and the sound of the Taylor 717e is certainly powerful, this with the V-Class Bracing design results in more flexibility for the top to resonate, delivering more volume and a well-defined, full tone. The Taylor Expression System 2 captures the natural voice of the instrument, whilst providing the user to sculpt their desired sound all from the instrument. Overall an excellent guitar, great for all sorts of genres but particularly excelling in singer-songwriter rhythm styles.
