Here for sale we have a Walrus Audio Ages 5-State Overdrive pedal. Walrus Audio are an Oklahoma City based company known for high-quality effects pedals with striking visual designs. They test and develop their pedals through collaboration with musicians that the Walrus team admires, sending prototypes in return for feedback to help develop their products. 
 
This Ages 5-State Overdrive pedal can be thought of as 5 overdrives in one, with 5 different 'States' or modes that are easily selectable with the central rotary control. Each of these modes is fully customisable using the other controls, with Volume, Dry, Gain, Bass & Treble knobs allowing you to easily dial in your perfect sound. 
 
The five modes are:
 
I. Low-gain mode with symmetric silicon soft clipping. Compressed and smooth.
II. Low-gain mode with symmetric LED soft clipping. Pushed, open, and sparkly.
III. High-gain mode with symmetric silicon soft clipping. Increased saturation and tight.
IV. High-gain mode with symmetric LED soft clipping. Saturated, punchy and big.
V. High-gain mode with symmetric silicon hard clipping. Heavy compression, thick and chewy.
 
As each mode changes the internal gain and clipping style, the other controls will respond differently in each mode, meaning this pedal can offer a seriously versatile range of sounds.
