Here for sale we have a Yamaha Pacifica PAC212VQM electric guitar in Translucent Black finish. Built in 2018 this guitar features an Alder body, a 'C' profile Maple neck, a Rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium frets, along with a trio of Alnico pickups in HSS configuration, wired to master volume/tone controls, a 5-way blade switch and a push/pull coil split.
The satin finish 'C' profile neck plays very well, offering a smooth and easy playing surface, feeling slightly thinner than other 'C' shapes on the market, which along with its narrow 1.61" nut width makes for a very playable neck, ideal for beginners looking for something easy to get along with. The dual cutaways give excellent access to the upper register and weighing in at 7.45lbs this Pacifica is nice and easy on the shoulders, great for gigging with.
The Alnico pickups have a fairly traditional voicing, offering clear and bell-like tones in neck and middle position, while giving plenty of bite and girth at the bridge, great for solos or powerful rhythm tones. The push/pull coil split gives excellent versatility, allowing you to configure the pickups as 3 single coils, great for when you need more snap at the bridge.
