Here for sale we have a Yamaha TRB1005J 5-String Electric Bass in Translucent Black finish. Made in Indonesia in 2021, this bolt-on neck design consists of an Alder body with a Quilted Maple top, a 5-piece Maple/Mahogany neck, and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include black chrome hardware, a solid brass bridge, die-cat machine heads, and two Yamaha H5 Alnico V humbucking pickups that are wired to a master volume, pickup blend, and a 3-band EQ.
 
The 5-piece Maple/Mahogany neck plays very well, combining a fast, ultra-comfortable profile that provides a slim grip, offering ergonomic thumb positioning and easy reach in all registers. The Satin finish to the rear is pleasant to the touch, and offers a smooth and tactile surface for the thumb to rest. The Rosewood fingerboard offers a smooth playing experience, and with its 23.6" radius provides a nicely flat & consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The generous double cutaways enhance access to the upper frets, whilst the extended upper horn helps to balance the bass on a strap. 
 
The pair of Yamaha H5 Alnico V active humbucking pickups in this bass deliver thick and throaty bass tones, well suited to a wide range of genres. The neck pickup is warm and round, with a robust low end, driving mids and a sparkling treble response that captures the attack of your playing excellently. The bridge pickup is brighter, and helps to push your sound forward in the mix. The Active EQ allows the player to boost their tone for when you want to cut through the mix, providing a powerful bass response and volume boost with complete control over their tone with easy accessibility.
